The Greenbank RSL Sub-Branch constantly evolves suiting the needs of the veteran community of all ages.
Our Sub-Branch keeps up with the modern veterans by adapting their services and support to meet the changing needs of the veteran community. Our key focus remains on providing practical support and advocacy through our qualified ATDP Wellbeing and Advocate Officers. This allows us to suit the needs of our members and family members. In order to honour our veteran’s service, we also hold various ceremonies for community engagement.
Our Missions
The main mission is to offer an extensive array of support services aimed at enhancing the well-being of both current and former members and their families of the armed forces.
This initiative focuses on fostering a strong sense of camaraderie among veterans and active service members, encouraging them to connect and share their experiences. Additionally, we are committed to advocating for their needs, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities necessary for their successful reintegration into civilian life.
Our welfare programs are designed to address the specific challenges faced by these individuals, providing essential assistance in areas such as mental health, financial support and homelessness. Through these efforts, we strive to create an inclusive network that uplifts and empowers the veteran community.
Vision
We acknowledge the significant sacrifices made by veterans and their families in defence of our freedoms, and we consider it our responsibility to reciprocate these contributions. Our commitment involves delivering a comprehensive array of resources and support to all members of the veteran community.
To enhance our service offerings, we are dedicated to the continuous professional development of our advocates and well-being personnel through extensive training programs. As part of our strategy to evolve into a forward-thinking sub-branch, we are actively exploring innovative approaches to engage veterans across diverse demographics. This initiative is aligned with feedback gathered from member meetings and discussions, which informs the ongoing refinement of our strategic plan.
